What is a Gift2Go Visa® virtual account?

A Visa virtual account is a prepaid Visa account that is received and used electronically.

 

 

Q.

Is it a credit card?

 

 

A.

No. The amount you can spend is limited to the total value on the Visa virtual account when it was purchased. Unlike a credit card, you do not receive any bills – the amount of each purchase is simply debited from the remaining balance on the Visa virtual account.

 

 

Q.

Where can I use it?

 

 

A.

Your Visa virtual account can be used to purchase merchandise and services online and by phone wherever Visa debit cards are accepted. Since there is no physical card, it can not be used at retail locations.

 

 

Q.

How will I receive my free privacy tools?

 

 

A.

After you load your Visa virtual account you will receive a welcome email with everything you need to protect your privacy and purchases.

 

 

 

 

Q.

Can I withdraw money from an ATM?

 

 

A.

No, The Visa virtual account can only be used for purchases via the Internet.

 

 

Q.

Can I get cash back from my account?

 

 

A.

No, the Visa virtual account can be used for purchases only, with no cash back privileges.

You can check your Visa virtual balance anytime here.

Does my account expire?

 

 

A.

Yes, it expires in one year.

 

 

Q.

What if value remains on the Visa virtual account after it has expired?

 

 

 

You may call the Customer Service Center at 1-800-995-3065 (8am12 midnight EST, 7 days a week) within 60 days after expiration to request a replacement Visa virtual account. The new Visa virtual account will be issued with the remaining balance of the original Visa virtual account less a $5.00 Virtual Account Replacement Fee.

 

 

Q.

Does it cost me anything to use the Visa virtual account?

 

 

A.

There is no fee or surcharge for making purchases using your Visa virtual account.  See Cardholder Agreement for details.
